- states & which references you use go hand in hand.
- imagination can provide sense of certainty.
- imagination can create references
- learn from past, not live in it
- certainty → success... eventually
- ★ There are no bad experiences
- good to remember someone else always has it worse
- Someone always has it better than you too. use for drive.
- ★ be willing to trust there is a reason behind the worst things
- loss is imaginary, nothing ever disappears, it just changes form.
- ★ Pursue ideas you must consciously seek out
- we live in a universe with several hundred thousand galaxies but still worry about little things.
- Leaders are readers. expand your references & expand your life
- ★ Pursue experiences you've never had before
5 most powerful experiences that have shaped who you've become as a person:
- breakup, it tore me down & I had to build myself back up & find ways to make myself happy without depending on others.
- college email from dad, it made me want to get involved. It linked pleasure to being involved.
