Whenever we ask ourselves a question, our brains will inevitably come up with an answer. If you habitually ask yourself "why me?" then your brain is going to come up with a disempowering answer. On the contrary, if you ask yourself a better question in a tough situation, like "what's great about this?" or "what can I learn from this?" then your brain is going to come up with a much more empowering answer.
Bottom line: Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, receive better answers. They receive answers that tell them exactly how to persevere in the face of adversity.
