The Growth Mindset Philosophy in 50 Bullet Points

  1. Work harder on yourself than anything else.
  2. Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that there is no time to criticize others.
  3. Miss a meal, but don’t miss your reading.
  4. Everyone must do one of two things: feed the mind or fall behind.
  5. Think, work for, and expect the best.
  6. Always make sure your actions align with your affirmations.
  7. Look at the bright side of everything and make your optimism come true.
  8. Be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
  9. Be a serious student of life.
  10. Don’t just get through the day, get from the day – join the university of life.
  11. Building a lifestyle is cumulative; everything you do counts and moves you closer to your goals
  12. Learn all you can so become all you were created to be.
  13. Never sacrifice yourself for others. “I’ll do for you if you do for me” is selfish. Instead, say “I’ll take care of me for you if you take care of you for me”. ADD value in relationships, don’t subtract.
  14. Never go with the flow.
  15. Live by design. (see #11)
  16. Live with intention.
  17. Anyone can do anything in this great big world.
  18. Take control of your health, your relationships, and ultimately your destiny.
  19. Commit to constant and never ending improvement.
  20. Learning is your superpower.
  21. The more you know, the less you need to say.
  22. Plan your life in greater detail than you would plan a vacation.
  23. Set goals for what they will make of you to achieve them.
  24. Learn as a student, not as a follower.
  25. You must either minimize your goals or magnify your skills.
  26. There is no failure, only results.
  27. Be a giver, not a taker.
  28. Don’t be the person who says “thank God it’s Friday”, because those are the people that get to the end of life and say “thank God it’s over”.
  29. Surround yourself not with people who have what you want, but with people who believe what you believe.
  30. Your own personal philosophy is the biggest deciding factor in how your life turns out.
  31. Don’t “hope” for a change; make the change.
  32. Let discipline be the bridge from your goals to your accomplishments.
  33. Don’t play it safe by flying low. You may feel comfortable, but you’ll never grow.
  34. Fly closer to the sun. (see #33)
  35. Take responsibility, give away credit.
  36. Run your own race.
  37. Dream big but start small, then connect the dots.
  38. Invest in yourself.
  39. Respect yourself.
  40. Self love and self care are not selfish because when you work on yourself, you increase the value you can give to the world.
  41. Let gratitude serve as the frame to the picture of the life you designed for yourself.
  42. Have the ability to hold your ego lightly.
  43. Build confidence by following through on the promises you make to yourself.
  44. If you want to walk on water, you’ve got to be willing to get out of the boat, to step into the unknown.
  45. Challenge the status quo.
  46. Do something remarkable with your life.
  47. Explore possibility.
  48. Create reality.
  49. Inspire the world to explore and create.
  50. Learn all you can and takes notes but always make sure your actions are the product of your own conclusion.
