4 Reasons You Should Take Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects against free radicals and toxic chemicals and it is always the first vitamin/supplement that I recommend to my clients. The health benefits are endless and it seems like this vitamin is the "magic pill." Here are just 4 of many reasons you should be taking Vitamin C

1. Healing & Beauty - Vitamin C is necessary for tissue repair and growth and is vital to collagen production. Collagen is an important protein that makes skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels.¹

2. Protective - Vitamin C can kill cancerous cells.²

3. Stressed? - Vitamin C can actually is sensitive to stress; It is the first nutrient to be depleted by smokers, alcoholics, and obese individuals.³

4. Miscellaneous - Vitamin C reduces the effects of macular degeneration, reduces inflammation and reduces the risk of numerous diseases, like cancer and cardiovascular disease.³

How do I get my Vitamin C?

I take 2000 mg per day as a supplement in the form of ascorbic acid as well as through various vegetables at each meal and sometimes kiwi.
