I want to say 2018 was the best year of my life, but I fear that I am falling prey to the effects of the recency bias by saying so.
"Recency bias" is the phenomenon of a person most easily remembering something that has happened recently, compared to remembering something that may have occurred a while back.

- Swam with sharks
- Swam with pigs
- Made plenty new friends
- Was featured in my first print magazine
- Was featured in Men's Health online twice
- Re-launched my web development business
- More than doubled my income while working 1/8 the number of hours compared to the year before
It was a ton of fun, and there is no shortage of victories and hard lessons learned alike that I am grateful for.Since you're reading this, I want to arm you with some learning materials in an effort to create a benevolent army of learners in 2019!
