6 fundamentals of successful relationship:
- If you don't know the values & rules of the people with whom you share a relationship, you should prepare for pain.
- the only way a relationship will last is if you see the relationship as a place that you go to give... not take.
- eliminate problems before they balloon into destructive patterns . communicate clearly up front.
- make your relationships one of the highest priorities in your life.
- Focus each day on making it better.
- each day, reassociate to what you like about this person you're in a relationship with. reinforce/renew feelings.
