The Mastery of Love (continued)

  • Your body is perfect the way it is, but we have concepts of beautiful & ugly. Just concepts, but we believe them. Image of perfection imposes expectations.
  • If I can accept my own body I can accept everyone. Being shy means you reject yourself. shy = fear
  • You are what you believe you are.
  • look at everything with eyes of love.
  • Healing: the truth, forgiveness, and self-love. "Now you have the tools in your hands to heal yourself. The question is: what are you going to do with them?" (180).
  • Be wise
  • stop trying to change people / impose your point of view
★ "Surrender all those ideas about being what you are not, & become what you really are."
  • awakening: emotional wounds gone → boundaries disappear, start to see everything as it is, not according to belief system. You're aware it's a dream. No need to judge because we were drunk too (only sober person at a party example).
