Law of Wisdom

There is a considerable joy to be found in being wrong about everything, however, because continually learning, growing, and improving is a fun challenge for us humans. If we knew it all, life would be boring anyway. Let's embrace the wonders of not knowing. And let's take it a step further by continually challenging the beliefs and assumptions that we already hold because it would only make sense that doing so would add to the fun. Even better, you'll accumulate a wider variety of perspectives, which will make us wise.

This is the Law of Wisdom:

Since we are all wrong and there is an infinite number of things that can be true for any given person (Law of Infinite Truths, to be explained in the next post on 5/26/18), the only path to wisdom is an accumulation of different perspectives.

When we stop to ask ourselves, "How could I be misinterpreting (insert topic here)?", and, "What would it mean if I was wrong?", We open ourselves up to an immense opportunity to expand our minds beyond the level of thinking we currently have. Remember what Albert Einstein said? We can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them. Similarly, the same level of thinking that got us here will not get us to where we want to go. Therefore, it is necessary to challenge our own assumptions and open ourselves up to new perspectives, which leads to further possibility. There is a great joy to be found in this sort of challenge.
