We all think we are right, which brings us to the next law, the Law of Accuracy:
We are all wrong.
Remember when people thought cigarettes were not unhealthy? Remember when we thought Santa was real? Remember when we thought the world was going to end all those times? Those assumptions were all wrong, at least I think the last one was wrong (you and I are still here).

Ordinary people and scientists alike have been predicting different dates that the world will end for thousands of years. All have been wrong so far. There are plenty more predictions in the years to come that all claim such precise things will happen, which make them seem so unlikely. For example, there are multiple claims that asteroids between three and ten kilometers wide will impact Earth and wipe everything out in the next billion years. Then there are supposedly gamma-ray bursts that will occur 300,000 years from now and 550 million years from now. Then there is apparently a supervolcanic eruption that will happen one million years from now. It is also speculated that dramatic drops in carbon dioxide levels of our atmosphere will make Earth uninhabitable in 500 million years and, if not at that time, then again in 1.3 billion years. Between one and five billion years from now, the sun is supposed to end its current phase of development and become 632 times larger than it is right now, which will either consume Earth or at least scorch it. In 3.3 billion years, there is a claim that Jupiter's gravity could make Mercury collide with Venus, which could also lead to a collision into Earth. The entire universe is supposed to end in 22 billion years, but only if a model of dark energy where w = 15 proves to be true (whatever that means, I don’t know what “w” is either). In 10 duotrigintillion (a "1" followed by 100 zeros, or simply "googol") years from now, there is a scientific theory that the universe diminishes to a state of no thermodynamic free energy (again, whatever that means), in which case the entire world will no longer sustain motion or life.
I’m no scientist, but most of that is probably wrong in one way or another simply because humans were the ones that figured this stuff out with human-engineered technology, but I guess that makes me wrong for stating these claims are wrong (oh boy, I’ve taken this too far). But hey, even if some of this stuff happens, there is no way some human figured it out so precisely as to determine the exact year or size of an asteroid or whatever. I just refuse to believe it. In one way or another, it will be wrong. Every theory of the world ending has been wrong so far and they will likely continue to be.
