Believe it or not, some of the water we drink can be deemed “unhealthy.” Why? Well, a healthy body needs to maintain a pH (potential of hydrogen) of about 6.3-7.3, which can be incredibly strenuous on a body that consumes an acidic diet.
What should we do?
Do your best to maintain the balance between acids and bases. Adding Himalayan pink salt (which I will be writing about in the coming weeks) to your food and water can go a long way in creating a healthy pH balance. If you’d like to test the pH of you’re own body, you can: https://www.amazon.com/pH-Strips-testing-increased-accuracy/dp/B00M4X5J20
